Ron Wasser has been consulting to professionals on the psychology of their Careers since 2007. Ron understands that career, with all of its matter-of-fact realities and deeper meanings, is a huge aspect of people's lives and identities. Ron’s passion is to help people enhance their professional success and well-being by understanding and working through their practical and deeper career issues.
From 2007-2014 Ron was an Associate at the Boswell Group, which consults to Boards of Directors and C-Suite executives on the psychology of business . He also consulted to Fortune 500 companies as an associate in the organizational psychology practice of Cynthia Grace, PhD.
Ron has a psychotherapy private practice in Montclair, NJ where he works with clients on a range of career and personal life issues. Over the years he has served as a coach for the MBA and Executive MBA programs at Columbia Business School and has authored articles on the interaction of emotional intelligence and professional performance.
Before pursuing his doctorate in psychology, Ron was the Director of sales and marketing for a company providing due diligence services to the institutional investment community. Under Ron's guidance, the company grew substantially and was eventually sold to a public company.
Ron was a Chancellor's Fellow and received his PhD in clinical psychology from the CUNY Graduate Center, which houses one of the most respected clinical doctoral programs in New York City. He also received his MA from CCNY and earned his BA cum laude from the University of Michigan.
